OTTAWA, ON— Sarnia-Lambton MP Marilyn Gladu says she is pleased to receive her appointments to the Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and the Standing Committee on Official Languages. 

"Considering the need for improved rail and air service to Sarnia-Lambton, the issues with regards to our local ferry service and transportation at the border, this will be an important file. 

In terms of Official Languages, as you may know, we have applied for the Francophone Designation of Ontario. I am proud to represent our community on this committee."
